About the event: Stanford Law School, Harvard Law School, the Berkman Center for Internet & Society and TEDxSF are pleased to invite you to a special event and reception on the Stanford campus, featuring a series of talks and a panel from thinkers and innovators working to improve the future of the Internet as we know it. The summit will feature sessions with some leading minds from Silicon Valley alongside an expo of student ideas coming out of the joint Stanford-Harvard Ideas for a Better Internet seminar.

“The vision of Network of Excellence in Internet Science – EINS Workplan”, this meeting will take place in Brussels (EC premises in bldg Baulie 25) on Dec 21-22. Consider a full day meeting on Dec 21 and an early afternoon closure (<4pm) on Dec 22. All WP (JRAs, IAs, SEAs) leaders are requested to be there and present their WP.

Joint Research Activities (JRA) to drive the methodological and scientific part of our vision

The heart of the methodological work of the NoE is formed by the JRAs; in general, they will take stock of existing activities in key scientific aspects of Internet Science, promoting coordination and stimulating synergies between them, and complementing them with research in specific areas which are seen as key for influencing the definition of future Internet specifications at architectural, technological and infrastructural levels.
