Privacy, Reputation, and Trust in Social Networks: Results of the JRA5 Questionnaire
In relation to the JRA 5.1.1 deliverable regarding the analysis of privacy, reputation, and trust in online social networks, a questionnaire was sent around to the members of JRA5 on October 2, 2012. In this questionnaire the participants were asked to identify relevant research and future research directions concerning the relationships between privacy and trust, social media technologies, and users. Moreover, participants were also asked to point out relevant policy documents from their own countries that deal with issues such as the privacy of online user information or the use of such information by social media corporations.
The questionnaire was a success and in total we received 14 responses from JRA5 members across 8 countries. We would like to thank all the participants and their respective institutes for their valuable inputs. The infographic attached with this post showcases the results of this survey.
