Claudia Roda is Professor of Computer Science at the American University of Paris. She holds a PhD from the University of London and bachelor degree in computer science from the University of Pisa. She is a founding member of AUP’s Working Group on Human Rights and Digital Technology.
Dr. Roda’s current research focuses on Human Computer Interaction and in particular on technology impact on civil society as well as on theoretical and computational models for attention computing. Several institutions, including the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the European Commission, have funded her research. She has published her work in many journals, books, and conferences and recently published the book Human Attention in Digital Environments with Cambridge University Press.
