Pablo Aragón is a researcher of the Social Media Group at Barcelona Media. He applies scientific knowledge to specific data (e.g., implementing algorithms to analyze real data). He also contributes to the documentation of various projects on methodologies for data mining in social media. Additionally, he participates as external researcher at the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (Open University of Catalonia) in two research groups: "Techno-politics: the power of connected crowds" and "Internet, net neutrality, hacker ethics and digital culture". Until he joined BM's Social Media Group, he was working as Data Engineer at the SME Cierzo Development where he designed social media crawlers. Pablo Aragón obtained a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Zaragoza in 2010.
