Paul Fehlinger is managing the Internet & Jurisdiction Project, a global multi-stakeholder dialogue process on the tension between the cross-border nature of the Internet and the patchwork of geographically defined national jurisdictions.
He holds a Master in International Relations from the Ecole Doctorale of Sciences Po Paris, where he specialized in Internet politics and new modes of global governance. Paul was a scholar of the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung) and a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies. He also holds a BA in European Studies from Maastricht University and a diploma in French Studies from the Sorbonne.
Prior to the Internet & Jurisdiction Project, Paul worked as a journalist in both France and Germany, and gained experiences in international civil conflict resolution, digital innovation consulting and EU law publishing.
